Born & raised in Burlington, Ontario – I always had a passion for art & design. I knew it was my calling when I first jumped in.
After completing three years at Fanshawe College and earning my Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design, I was more than ready to launch my career. My first role was in the print industry, where I stayed for just over three years. This was the perfect first step in my long graphic design journey. Working in the world of print and publishing taught me all the fundamentals I needed to really kick-start my career. I did everything from editorial layouts for magazines, full window display signage, and print advertisements for a variety of clients. I was able to understand consumer demand and translate that understanding into well-thought-out design.
After indulging in the print world for a number of years, I knew it was time to expand my skills and move into digital design. I began designing and creating websites, social media content, and email marketing campaigns. I took it upon myself to learn more about SEO, front-end web development, and other key digital marketing areas so I am able to ensure my designs are highly optimized for whatever goals my clients may have.
I am lucky enough to have worked in a variety of industries, giving me a well-rounded portfolio of experience. I spent over three years at a boutique publishing agency working on multiple luxury magazine publications. The content I created varied from real estate, luxury automotive, fashion, and home and design. I then accepted a role in the food and beverage industry where I spent two years designing for a variety of major brands. I am now happily settled in the health and wellness industry where I am currently doing front-end web development, digital marketing, and graphic design - and loving every minute of it!
